Mount Covenant

Mount Covenant Ministries of Oakland (MCMO) was founded in 2020 by Pastors Bob and Stacee Brackens. Mount Covenant Ministries was birthed out of the union and consecration of two ministries Kingdom Covenant Ministries of Oakland and Second Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. It was God’s approval with the marrying of these two ministries in January of 2018. The vision for the community that surrounded the facility that housed both ministries was revealed, “Building a Community of Believers through Faith and Fellowship”.

As a result of planting the vision in the hearts of the people, the Lord began to deal with Pastor Bob about the importance of a name. The Lord said that the name of our new fellowship would be “Mount Covenant Ministries”. He then instructed Pastor Bob to look up the words “Mount”, “Covenant” and then the word “Cove”. So, Pastor Bob did, and the rest is His-Story.
